Rigoletto

Nominated for the 23rd Junceda Awards.

Rigoletto is an picture book that is part of an editorial proposal that begins with an introduction to the opera genre, continues with the picture book and ends with the libretto. 

The figures emerge from the darkness to tell us a tragedy and a parallel with the animal ecosystem is used to explain the hierarchy and abuse of power of the time. 

This work is made with gouache on acrylic, it was a graphic exploration in search of imperfection, the looseness of the stroke and the expressiveness of the textures.
